Juneteenth

Juneteenth

Art, culture, and community combine at the Annual Juneteenth Black Arts Festival. Community-led and community-driven, CORE hosts an annual Juneteenth Festival through the intentional stewardship of our planning team. Since in 2018, the Juneteenth event has transformed - growing from our initial location accommodating 100 people, to over 3000 attendees joining us from across the Triangle region.

Juneteenth Black Arts Festival is a dedicated space of reverence for the impact of Black arts and culture on American culture. We commit to offering an opportunity for Black artists and entrepreneurs to build relationships and increase their exposure across communities. We honor the creative genius and spirit of excellence that prevails within the Black community because we recognize barriers that remain in place today, excluding them from mainstream business opportunities.

Juneteenth with CORE is an experience for ALL. This Festival offers cultural experiences, educational opportunities, networking prospects, local resources, and a vision for liberation. Individuals, family, and community joining us on June 21, 2025 will explore history, art, and food - challenging stereotypes and building a sense of pride in the dynamic heritage of Black Americans and American culture.

BLACK BUSINESS EXPO
Juneteenth is a celebration of culture, joy, and excellence. This is why WE LOVE supporting and showcasing Black-owned businesses locally and beyond. Be a part of the celebration and take this opportunity to introduce your products, designs, or services to our Juneteenth attendees.

All Black-owned businesses are welcome - this includes artists, designers, agriculture, skincare, educators, consultants, therapists and beyond. Thank you to those of you returning, and a joyful welcome our first time participants.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
Community organizations are valuable resources to our community. We appreciate that for the past 7 years, the number of advocacy, health, and civic engagement organizations that have participated continues to grow.

If you have participated in the previous years, we're excited to welcome you back again. And if this is your first time considering participation, we extend a warm welcome to you as a new attendee. It's worth it!
